# convertcurrency: Convert Currency – ECB Exchange Rates

> convertcurrency (Convert Currency – ECB Exchange Rates) is a 1001fx API function in the group Data & JSON: POST https://api.1001fx.com/data/convertcurrency, 1 credit per call. It works as a ready-made module in Make or as a plain HTTP call.

Converts an amount between about 30 currencies (EUR, USD, GBP, CHF, JPY, PLN …) with the official reference rates of the European Central Bank – latest or of a day in the last 90 days.

## Parameters

- `amount` (number, required) – Amount
- `from` (string, required) – From currency: ISO 4217 code, e.g. USD.
- `to` (string, required) – To currency: ISO 4217 code, e.g. EUR.
- `date` (string, optional) – Date: Rate of this day (last 90 days; weekends/holidays use the working day before). Default: latest.
- `decimals` (number, optional, default `2`, max 10) – Decimals: Rounding of the result, default 2.
