# isworkingday: Is Working Day – Weekend and Public Holiday Check

> isworkingday (Is Working Day – Weekend and Public Holiday Check) is a 1001fx API function in the group Date & time: POST https://api.1001fx.com/datetime/isworkingday, 1 credit per call. It works as a ready-made module in Make or as a plain HTTP call.

Checks whether a date is a working day: not on the weekend and not a public holiday of the country (and state). Returns the holiday name and the next and previous working day.

## Parameters

- `date` (string, required) – Date: e.g. 2026-12-25 or 25.12.2026.
- `country` (string, optional, default `DE`) – Country: ISO code for public holidays, e.g. DE (default), AT, CH, US.
- `state` (string, optional) – State: Optional state/region code, e.g. BY for Bavaria.
- `weekend` (array<number>, optional) – Weekend days: ISO weekdays that are not working days (1 = Monday … 7 = Sunday). Default [6, 7].
