Data tables for your automations

1001fx data tables are small tables that belong to your account. Ten functions create, read, filter and change them, so the same table works in Make, n8n and your own code. You can also view, edit and import or export them as CSV in the 1001fx app.

Key facts

Limits
Tables per account by plan: Free 1, Starter 10, Business 50, Enterprise 500; 1,000 rows and 1 MB per table, 100 columns
Column types
string, number, boolean, date, plus the system columns id, createdAt and updatedAt
Filters
eq, neq, gt, gte, lt, lte, contains, isEmpty, isNotEmpty, combined with all or any; sort, limit and offset
Costs
1 credit per call, independent of the number of rows
Access
Tables belong to the account: every API key of the account sees them, a new key keeps the data
Parallel writes
Last write wins – process bundles one after another when they change the same table
In the app
View and edit rows, import and export CSV
Available via
REST API (https://api.1001fx.com) with your API key – from Make, n8n, scripts and AI agents

What you can do with it

  • Skip records you already processed: check with rowexists before you act (deduplication)
  • Lookup tables, for example product codes to names, prices or contact e-mails
  • Counters and running numbers across workflow runs
  • Keep prompts or text templates for AI steps in one place
  • Hand over intermediate results between scenarios, or between Make and n8n

How it works

  1. 1

Create a table with its columns, with createtable or in the app.

  2. 2

Write rows with insertrows, or upsertrow to update or insert in one call.

  3. 3

Read rows with getrows and filters, or ask rowexists whether a record is already there.

  4. 4

Change or remove rows with updaterows and deleterows; dryRun shows the affected rows first.

Functions

Each function has its own page with all parameters, examples and a ready-to-copy curl command.

Get rows from a data table
curl -X POST 'https://api.1001fx.com/datatables/getrows' \
  -H 'X-API-KEY: YOURSECRETAPIKEY' \
  -H 'Content-Type: application/json' \
  -d '{"table":"processed_orders","filters":[{"column":"total","condition":"gt","value":20}],"orderBy":"total","direction":"desc"}'

Frequently asked questions

Is a data table a replacement for a database?
No. Data tables are made for small amounts of workflow data, up to 1,000 rows per table. For larger data sets use a database or a spreadsheet.
Can Make and n8n use the same table?
Yes. A table belongs to your 1001fx account, so every platform that calls 1001fx with a key of that account reads and writes the same table.
What happens when two runs write at the same time?
The last write wins, so parallel runs can overwrite each other. In Make, process the bundles sequentially when they change the same table.
Can I address a table by name?
Yes. Every function accepts the table ID or the table name.
