1001fx MCP server

The 1001fx MCP server gives AI assistants access to the 1001fx functions. The assistant finds the right function, reads its fields and runs it with your account: same credits, same limits and the same call history as every other way to use 1001fx.

The server URL is the same everywhere:

claude.ai and Claude Desktop

  1. Open Settings → Connectors and add a custom connector.
  2. Enter https://mcp.1001fx.com as the URL.
  3. Log in to 1001fx and allow access.

Claude Code

  1. Add the server in your terminal, then run /mcp in Claude Code and log in to 1001fx.

Cursor and other clients

  1. Add the server to the MCP configuration of the client (in Cursor: ~/.cursor/mcp.json) and log in to 1001fx when asked.

Tools

Three tools instead of one per function, so your assistant keeps its context free and loads only what it needs.

  • search_functions

    Finds functions by keywords, for example "merge pdf" or "holiday".

  • describe_function

    Returns the description, the credits, the input fields and an example of a function.

  • call_function

    Runs a function with the given fields and returns the answer.

What to ask for

Frequently asked questions

What does it cost?
The server itself is free. Each function call uses the credits of that function, exactly as in Make, n8n or the API. The free plan includes 100 credits every month.
Which credits are used?
After logging in, an assistant runs on the API key marked for OAuth in your account. If you connect with an API key instead, that key is used.
Can I connect without logging in through the browser?
Yes. Clients that can send headers can use your API key: send it as the header x-api-key to https://mcp.1001fx.com. You find the key in the 1001fx app under API key.
How do I remove access?
In the 1001fx app under Settings → Security → Connected apps. The access ends at once.
How do files work?
Pass a public URL, or a data: URI for small files. File results come back as a temporary download link that is valid for about a day. Images up to 1 MB are also returned directly, so the assistant can look at them.
Are all functions available?
All active functions, except those that change third-party accounts such as YouTube and Stripe, and the asset upload.
