Today we want to show you an example on how to scrape websites using the 1001fx scrapehtml function.

In this example we will extract all blog posts from the [1001fx blog](https://1001fx.com/blog).

First we need the html selector of a card. Please see the following short video on how to get the selector.

I got the selectors for title and subtitle the same i got the selector for the card itself. Feel free to try it yourself.
Notice: By getting the selector you might notice something like a:nth-child(1). If you would use this selector or function would only access the first blogpost. Simply remove the nth-child option and you are good to go.

By using the Anonymize Text prompt template and the custom system message that all answers should be in german, the AI was able to replace all names in the provided text and still remaining all relations.

Credentials for APIs like Stripe, YouTube, or other SaaS (Software as a Service) platforms are essentially a set of unique keys or tokens that allow you to access and interact with the services provided by these platforms. Think of them as a digital key that grants you access to a locked door, where the locked door represents the specific service you want to interact with.

You can add and manage your credentials in the [Dashboard](/app/credentials/list) . Depending on the service, you may need to authenticate with the 3rd party service.


## Setting up OAuth 2.0 for YouTube 

<u>The 1001fx YouTube functional is publically available soon.</u>

See https://support.google.com/cloud/answer/6158849?hl=en on how to create a OAuth2 Client in your Google Developer Console. **Important**: Please specify **https://1001fx.com/oauth2callback** as redirect Uri.

## Step 1: Create a Google API Project
To begin, you'll need to create a Google API project for your YouTube channel. Follow these simple steps:

1. Visit the Google Developers Console (https://console.developers.google.com/).
2. Sign in with your Google account.
3. Click on "Create Project" and enter a project name and an optional project description.
4. Click "Create" to complete the process.

## Step 2: Enable YouTube Data API

Next, you'll need to enable the YouTube Data API for your project:

1. In the Google Developers Console, select your project from the dropdown menu.
2. Click on "Enable APIs and Services" at the top.
3. Search for "YouTube Data API v3" and click on it.
4. Click the "Enable" button to activate the API for your project.

## Step 3: Configure OAuth 2.0 Consent Screen

1. On the left-hand menu, click "Credentials."
2. Select the "OAuth consent screen" tab.
3. Choose "External" for user type and click "Create."
4. Fill in the required fields, such as "App name," "User support email," and "Developer contact information."
5. Click "Save and Continue."

## Step 4: Add Scopes to your OAuth 2.0 Consent Screen

1. On the "Scopes" page, click "Add or Remove Scopes."
2. Add the following scopes for 1001fx functions:
   - https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.upload
   - https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube
3. Click "Update" and then "Save and Continue."

## Step 5: Create OAuth 2.0 Client ID

1. Click on the "Credentials" tab in the left-hand menu.
2. Click the "Create Credentials" button and select "OAuth client ID."
3. Choose "Web application" as the application type.
4. Enter a name for your client ID and set the "Authorized redirect URIs" field to "https://1001fx.com/oauth2callback" (without quotes).
5. Click "Create" to generate your OAuth 2.0 client ID and secret.

## Step 6: Connect 1001fx to your YouTube Account

1. Log in to your 1001fx account.
2. Navigate to the "Credentials" section.
3. Click "Add Credentials" and choose "YouTube."
4. Enter the client ID and secret from Step 5 into their respective fields.
5. Accept all legal terms from YouTube (https://developers.google.com/youtube/terms/developer-policies and https://developers.google.com/youtube/terms/branding-guidelines)
6. Click "Authorize" and follow the on-screen instructions to grant 1001fx access to your YouTube account.


You've successfully set up OAuth 2.0 for YouTube and connected your 1001fx account! You can now start automating tasks such as uploading videos and updating playlists on your YouTube channel.

Some third-party services accessible through 1001fx (such as YouTube) require you to provide login information in order for our servers to connect to them.

You can resend a ticket to a user or update the ticket with new data.

### General

The following data is needed in both functions:

1. apiToken: To access the API you first need an API token. More information on where to create it can be found [here.](https://docs.pretix.eu/en/latest/api/tokenauth.html) 
2. organizer: The slug of your organization. Can be found in your Pretix Dashboard URL.
3. event: The slug of you event. Can also be found in the Dashboard URL.


### Resending a ticket

When resending the ticket, the additional field  _code_ needs to be specified. The code is the "Order code", which is visible to the user.

### Updating a ticket

Updating a ticket needs _id_ field instead of code.

Additionally, you need to add the data, that should be changed in the tcket. The following fields can be edited:

- city
- country
- state

How to run Javascript in Make

Creating charts is often a complex process, requiring special libraries or a server to generate the charts. Creating charts in nocode automation processes was even more complex.  With our 1001fx **Line Chart, Bar Chart, Pie Chart and Donut Chart** we offer the ability to create charts on the fly in your automation solution. 

This blog post shows how to create charts with make.com. 
Below we also show how to use the api directly via postman or API.

### Workflow

The data source we use is the Weather API. It could of course be any other data source. 

The data we get from the Weather API connector is aggregated and transformed into a data json that our function needs to render the charts. Additional display options such as titles, colours and sizes could be added.  The image is  added as an attachment.

How to create charts with 1001fx


This is the Airtable version of the "[Generate images on the fly with Make](/image-generation-post)" article. We will skip the general explanation of its purpose and focus on how to set it up and automate the process.

## Automation

The automation in Airtable is more low-code than nocode. But do not be afraid, it is easy to set up.


1. Add the following code extension to your base ([https://www.airtable.com/guides/scale/write-custom-scripts-in-airtable](Write custom scripts in Airtable).
2. Add the code (see end of this post)
3. Replace the api key
4. Press Run and all images will be generated

## How it works

**Preparation**
- Upload your images into cells in the 'Image' and 'OverlayImage' columns. The overlay image can always be the same. 
- The 'ImageUrl' and 'OverlayImageUrl' columns are automatically filled with the URL of your uploaded images based on a formula ((RIGHT(LEFT(Image, LEN({Image}) - 1), LEN(LEFT({Image}, LEN({Image}) - 1)) - SEARCH("https://", {Image}) + 1)).

**Algorithm**
1. It iterates over all records in the table and filters for "checked" = true.
2. For all items found, it generates the image based on the template (variable tailwindTemplate) and the replacements. This means that all imageUrls are copied into the template and the template is sent to the 1001fx **html2image**.
3. The result is the generated image. Unfortunately, Airtable does not support uploading the image directly. So we have to use the 1001fx **uploadasset** function. This returns a temporary url that can be used to upload an attachment to the attachment column "ResultImage" in our airtable,

This example is stripped down to the most important parts. You can easily extend it.

In this scenario, we are going to combine images and place a text on them. A more complete scenario for the NoCode Rocks conference can be found at the end of this post.

## Preparation

- Create a GDrive folder (e.g.) "ConferenceSpeakers".
- Create a subfolder "Speakers" with your images (we only use square images) and make it publicly available so that 1001fx can access it.
- Create a subfolder "Generated" for the output images.

For each speaker image, fill in the columns in a new row:
- A: Name of the speaker
- B: TRUE or FALSE (the process will only generate images if the value is TRUE)
- C: Insert the public share link of the speaker image
- D: Image ID - automatically filled by formula (=SUBSTITUTE(SUBSTITUTE(C2,"https://drive.google.com/file/d/";"");"/view?usp=share_link";""))
- E: External image URL - automatically filled by formula (=CONCAT("https://drive.google.com/uc?id=";D2))
- F: Insert the public share link of the overlay image

Podcast hosts often use **dynamic ads** in their podcasts. This means they tease the ad at a fixed point in the podcast and then tell the dynamic ad server to insert an ad at that point. This is completely dynamic and cannot be controlled by the podcast host.

**But what happens if the ad server fails to deliver the ad? The podcast host will lose money because the ad was not delivered.**

*Note: This workflow was inspired by a complaint from Philipp Glöckner of the German Doppelgänger podcast (https://doppelgaenger.io) in episode 232 (https://www.doppelgaenger.io/232-chatgpt-4-%f0%9f%91%80-tiktok-meta-jobmarkt-recruiting-adobe-uipath-earnings/).*

In this blog post, we'll discuss how to check the ads in a podcast by downloading the mp3, cutting out the intended sequence, using OpenAI to transcribe it, and emailing the result to the podcast host. Setting up this workflow takes less than 10 minutes.

We use make.com as the automation platform, **Airtable** as the data source, 1001fx's **Cut Audio File** function to get the right snippet, 1001fx to ask **OpenAI** to **transcribe** it, and **email** the result to the podcast host.

This scenario can easily be extended by comparing the transcription to a reference text and only sending the email if the text does not match the podcast host's requirements. But that is beyond the scope of this article.

## Setting up the data source
Create an airtable with the following columns 

- Podcast title
- Podcast mp3 file URL
- Start of episode in seconds
- Time to extract and transcribe

## Creating the scenario in Make

Create a new workflow in your Make organization

### 1. Connect to your Airtable table

### 2. Cut the audio file

Take the parameters from the Airtable and cut the file using 1001fx's Cut Audio File. Out function will download the file to our server and cut the seconds from the starting point and create a new audio snippet for further processing.

### 4. Transcribe the audio snippet

Pass the audio snippet to Open AI for transcription (the advantage of using 1001fx's function is that you don't need an API key for Open AI, and the OpenAI transcription function is currently not part of the public openAI Make module).

1. Fork the [1001fx postman](https://www.postman.com/1001fx/workspace/1001fx/overview)  workspace ([Official postman howto](https://learning.postman.com/docs/collaborating-in-postman/using-version-control/forking-entities/))

2. In the fork, create the following variables in environment - globals

   - baseUrl: https://api.1001fx.com
   - x-api key: YOUR_SECRET_X_API_KEY
   - testdataPath: Optional path for your test data, e.g. ~/dev/.

Keep in mind to create a new fork in order to get updates on our API.

3. Use the API 🚀
